U.S.A. Presidential Election Process

US Presidential election process is not as simple as it sounds. The President and the Vice-President are elected after every 4 years by the electors who further are elected by people. It is the people who decide who will be the Presidential face from a particular party and who will be the president from the chosen candidates but indirectly.
Let's understand:
U.S.A. has 50 states for example Texas, Florida, Ohio et cetera. Each state has its own powers and govern their people which may be starkly opposite to the other states.(States their have more power than states in India). Now first are the PRIMARIES conducted in which people show their preference for a party's candidate or a candidate in general .(Bernie sanders, Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren are some famous candidates from Democratic party). In some states all the eligible voters can vote but in others only registered party members can. Now these voters elect DELEGATES and these delegates further vote to support the candidate of the party in a meeting called the National Party Convention.
Total delegates -3979
Minimum delegates to win- 1991
(In Democratic party Joe Biden is the presumptive nominee as he has more support from delegates than the others Democrat candidates).
Now are the nominees from the two main parties(U.S.A. follows two party system-Democratic and Republican) elected.
Next is the process of electoral college.
Each state have different number of electors depending on the population. For instance California has 55(53+2)electors. Also each state will have two electors which will be the members of the Senate House.
Now on the election day people vote for the elector which are chosen by the delegates in the National party convention( Donald Trump from Republican and Joe Biden from Democratic). Here the Principal of one takes all is applicable. For example let's assume a state has 20 electors out of which 15 vote for Democratic and other 5 for Republican now since votes for Democratic form the majority that's why all 20 votes would be taken away by the Democratic. This is also the reason why candidates weigh more importance on states with more number of votes/electors than the states which does not have many votes. Next, on a designated day then these electors finally vote for their party candidate and the candidate with at least 270 votes(total-538)  wins. ( In 2016 Donald trump received 304 elector votes to Clinton's 227 votes).

WHAT IF COVID-19 STAYS FOREVER???

I know the first thing that comes to your mind is stop this rubbish... This can't happen.. this should not happen. But calm down people just give it a thought. As per reports the vaccine will usually take between 12-18 months to be made(unless a miracle happens). And since it is a contagious disease the transmission rate may be lowered but would not end completely. This is because we cannot put the world on an eternal lockdown.. people cannot be fettered for months.
So lets see its repercussions...
Social distancing which is now forced on people would sooner become a social norm. Hand sanitizers in the pockets and masks on the faces will become common. Extravagant, fancy, lavish weddings would be waved a goodbye with a decrease in the members of the guest list.
Ever thought what would happen to your relaxed weekends??
Spending time with friends in the malls or watching a movie in theaters would change into a weekend show with your near and dear ones on netflix or Amazon prime. We never know what if movie premieres now gets launched on these OTT platforms directly. Maybe sitting plans get changed in the movie halls giving preference to alternative sitting.Virtual tours of zoos have already started. Amusement parks and adventurous sports would turn into virtual reality gaming with those hand controllers,sensor- equipped gloves and headsets.
No more Handshakes and hug but a change to traditional Namaste and the trending elbow shakes.
A person coughing would be seen as an alien and would be feared from. People would restrict going to the hospitals and meeting the doctors(you never know when the corona encounters you).Terrace would soon become the playground for the elderly and children alike where one can walk or attain fitness goals. Games like PUB-G,Clash of clans and candy crush would be common for toddlers as pithu, pakdam pakdhai used to be at my time.
What about the academic sessions??
One will surely miss the food breaks(recess), library sessions or the gossips as the zoom or google hangout classes will become all the more pervasive. Children might not have a bicycle but will surely have a phone or I-Pad.

I know it's just to much to bear..But are the technological changes that we were expecting to occur in 2050 will invade us as soon as in 2025??

Back to back Indian cinema has lost its  two amazing bollywood personalities namely  Irrfan  Khan and Rishi Kapoor. Both were suffering from cancer, former with neuro endocrine tumor and the latter with leukemia(blood cancer). Looking into the past we have realized that that many of our prominent artists, actors, politicians have lost their life battling cancer. What is cancer? How is it caused?
Let's have a discussion..
Human body is made of cells. These cells join to make tissues, tissues make organs, organs make organ system and finally is the human body formed. Growth is the process through which these cells accumulate mass and increase in physical size. But at times these cells divide recklessly paving way for mutation(a change that occurs in DNA sequence, either due to mistakes when DNA is copied or as a result of environmental factors such as UV rays and cigarette smoke) to occur. This mutation leads to formation of malignant cells or the cancer cells causing a tumor to occur.
Since in most of the cases cancer cells does not create any pain in the beginning stages many even do not know  if they have cancer until they have any pain.
TREATMENT:
1. SURGERY
In case the tumor is slow growing the doctor will advise you the surgery. which would remove the tumor.
2. RADIATION:
Fast growing tumor can be treated through radiation which mostly uses the X- rays but at times protons or other types of energy can also be used.
3. CHEMOTHERAPY
It uses powerful chemicals to kill the fast growing cancer cells.
But this chemicals cannot distinguish between the benignant and malignant cells as a result all the fast growing cells is killed by chemotherapy( hair cells grows fast so you might have noticed that people under going chemotherapy usually lose their hair)
Other side effects are skin rashes, nausea, vomiting et al.
WHAT CAN WE DO ?
Till now doctors have not found a hard and fast solution to treat cancer. But one must go for regular check-up so that one can know in advance if one is diagnosed with cancer even though no symptoms have been shown yet.

(tried to explain in the most simple language)
